Welcome to the website containing the archived research outputs of the Forestry Research Programme (FRP) of the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID).

The Commonwealth Forestry Association accepted FRPs invitation to host this website following its closure in March 2006 as part of its mission  to promote the conservation and sustainable management of the world's forests and the contribution they make to peoples' livelihoods.
